Meet James Hoyle - artist from the USA.

Unlike myself James knew he wanted to become an artist when he was six years of age and was encouraged from that age by his teacher Mary Hovious in Nashville Tennessee.

"At eighteen James Hoyle's formal training began at the Ringling's School of Art and Design in Saratosa Florida.Later Hoyle drew much of his influence from Claude Monet."

Similar to myself James paints what he feels, and considers himself to be an expressionist who paints his emotions, his passions and his world. It has been said of him he uses the colour's of Gauguin, the sensitivity of Monet and the movement of Van Gogh.

Again unlike myself James uses a mixed media in one painting using inks,oil/acrylic and oil sticks, and each brush stroke is applied one at a time.

Below on the left are some of James work and on the right are examples of Gauguin,Monet and Van Gogh, it highlights the different perceptions that different artists have to recapture the similar scenes, and their various methods of reproduction.

So I think we can positively say that art is an individuals interpretation of something that is reproduced through that own persons  media, which can only make them unique."Viduationis est unicum"my personal quote translated is 'individualism is unique'
